Playoff fever continues to spread across Metro Vancouver and another local city is hosting FREE Canucks playoff watch parties beginning today
The City of Maple Ridge is inviting residents to watch the games at a family-friendly viewing party at the Greg Moore Youth Centre (GMYC), located at 11925 Haney Place.
The first viewing party kicks off on Wednesday, May 7 in the Multipurpose room at the GMYC.

In a release, the City says everyone is encouraged to wear their Canucks gear and that City Hall will also be lit up in blue and green.
“We are excited to invite the community to get in on the hockey action and cheer on the Canucks during this next round,” said Mayor Ruimy. “This is a great way to build community spirit in a fun, family-friendly environment. Let’s go Canucks!”
Snacks and drinks will be available for sale at the concession. No outside food or alcohol is allowed.
Space is available on a first come, first served basis, so make sure you arrive early!
Burnaby, Delta and Port Coquitlam have been hosting free community viewing parties throughout the playoffs.

- Game 1 (Home): Wednesday, May 8 at 7pm – doors open at 6pm
- Game 2 (Home): Friday, May 10 at 7pm – doors open at 6pm
- Game 3 (Away): Sunday, May 12 at 6:30pm – doors open at 6pm

- Games 5 to 7: TBA
