Medical emergency in Vancouver leads to major delays on Canada Line

7:53pm: Canada Line medical emergency at Vancouver City Centre has been resolved. Train service has resumed.

The Canada Line is experiencing major delays during the Monday evening rush hour commute due to a medical emergency.



At 5:15pm, TransLink said the Canada Line is experiencing delays due to a medical emergency at Vancouver City Centre Station.

Shortly afterwards, Canada Line service between Waterfront Station & Olympic Village Station was suspended.

“No service in the downtown core,” said TransLink.

In a meantime, TransLink has set up a bus bridge to help transit users.
