A Mercedes driver received a hefty fine after going over twice the speed limit on a busy Burnaby road.
On Sunday, Burnaby RCMP pulled over the driver of a Mercedes C300 that was going 127 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.
“This Mercedes C300 was moving at more than two & a half times the speed limit, northbound on Royal Oak Avenue,” tweeted out the Burnaby RCMP.

The vehicle was impounded and the driver received a $483 fine. Police say they pulled over three drivers in Burnaby yesterday for excessive speeding.
