Winter will be in full effect this week and many parts of Metro Vancouver woke up to snow Monday morning.
Environment Canada issued a special weather statement Sunday morning, stating that a “series of storms will bring winter weather conditions along the BC coast from Monday through Tuesday”.

Snow is expected to fall in many areas throughout the day and is expected to change to rain by Monday afternoon.
Simon Fraser University’s Burnaby campus received snow as students returned for the first day of the spring semester.
Out in Langley, snow can be seen starting to stick ever so slightly.
Snow could also be seen coming down in other local areas in varying amounts.
The snow is expected to change to rain by Monday afternoon. Monday evening calls for a risk of a thunderstorm and heavy rain at times.
