UPDATE: Surrey RCMP is updating the public that the 16-year-old male reported missing on May 28, 2023, has been located safe.

Police are asking for the public’s help to find missing 16-year-old Surrey boy John Garang.
Surrey RCMP say he was last seen at approximately 2am on May 28th, 2023 in the 13600 block of 104A Avenue in Surrey.
He has not been seen or heard from since.

“It is unusual for Garang to not be in contact. Police and family are concerned for his health and well-being,” says Sgt. Duane Honeyman.
John Garang is described as being 6 feet tall, with short curly hair, and has a scar on his forehead. Police do not know what clothing he was wearing.
