Surrey RCMP are asking for the public’s help to find a missing 27-year-old man.
On September 15, police received a report that 27-year-old Vishal Bajaj had not arrived at his place of employment in Vancouver. Earlier that same day, his backpack was found near the pedestrian walkway on the Alex Fraser Bridge.
He was last seen on September 13th around 8:41pm leaving his residence in the 14200 block of 114 Avenue in Surrey.
Bajaj is described as a 27-year-old South Asian man, who stands 5’7” tall and weighs 141 lbs. He has short black hair and brown eyes.

“The Surrey RCMP Missing Persons Unit is leading this investigation,” says Cpl. Sarbjit K. Sangha, Media Relations Officer with Surrey RCMP. “Police are asking any friends and associates of Vishal to contact them with information to assist in locating him.”
