Police are searching for a missing person after a vehicle was found abandoned on a BC Ferries vessel.
Sunshine Coast RCMP say Joyelle Goldbard’s orange four-door Subaru XV hatchback was found abandoned aboard the 2:35 p.m. BC Ferries sailing from Langdale after it arrived in Horseshoe Bay on July 2nd.
“No one claimed the vehicle and no one matching Goldbard’s description was seen in the area,” reads a release from the department.
Goldbard’s wallet, personal belongings and cell phone were located inside the vehicle.

Goldbard, who was previously known as Kristi Brandt until 2021, is a 51-year-old Roberts Creek resident who is 5’4″ (163 cm), weighs approximately 150 pounds, and has brown eyes and short brown hair.
Goldbard has multiple tattoo’s, a phoenix on the back of her neck and a full sleeve on her left arm.
