Family and friends of missing Vancouver man Suleiman Khawar are holding a second search party Sunday afternoon. The search will begin at 1pm tomorrow on Granville Island and volunteers are being asked to meet in front of Tap & Barrel Bridges. A Facebook event page created for the search party says that more details will be coming soon.
A search party was held on Tuesday that started in the Science World area. The group did a thorough search of the South Granville, Burrard Street and W Georgia Street, Granville Street, Pacific Boulevard, False Creek areas. Surrounding parks in Chinatown, Yaletown, Science World, East Broadway, and near East 1st Avenue were searched as well.

Suleiman Khawar was last seen Thursday, May 25th while at Mansion Night Club near West Georgia and Thurlow in downtown Vancouver.

The mother of Suleiman, Wagma, is once again asking for the public’s help to find her youngest son.
“Suleiman is a kid that likes to walk, make music, loves to play chess, and he loves to play games,” says a tearful Wagma in a video posted on Instagram.
“He is my baby, he is the youngest of five kids. I love him and I want him back home.”
Suleiman is described as South Asian, 6 feet tall, and has a slim build. He has short black hair and a black beard with a mustache.
He was last seen wearing a blue button-down shirt over a white t-shirt, black jeans and black shoes with white soles. His last known location was by Granville and Drake Streets at 1:28am on May 26th.
