After opening in Burnaby back in 2017, a popular pastry shop is gearing up to open their second Metro Vancouver location this spring.
Mon Paris Pâtisserie, led by Chef and Owner Elena Krasnova, is opening new location in the heart of Olympic Village later this spring. Since opening in 2017, Elena has become well-known for her modern and award-winning takes on classic cakes, chocolates, pastries and confections.

“I’m so excited to bring Mon Paris to a new neighbourhood in Vancouver and look forward to transporting guests to the heart of the Paris café culture that I fell in love with,” says Krasnova. “I want to thank all of the people who visited us in Burnaby for the past eight years for their support and look forward to bringing a little of that same magic to this new location.”
The new location will feature the same delectable daily creations, with a number of new items to the menu including Parisian baguette sandwiches and lunch-focused fare. Opening in the former site of Yandoux Pâtisserie and dessert parlour, the reimagined space will be 1,150 sq. ft and offer seating for 20.
Born in Russia, Elena grew up during the ‘Perestroika’ era when bare necessities were in high demand. Growing up during this time developed her ability and desire to express herself in artistic ways by “creating something beautiful out of nothing”.
