Talk about an expensive lesson. On Sunday, Vancouver Police pulled over an “N” driver for doing more than twice the speed limit in the 4200 block of SW Marine Drive.
Police tweeted out photos of the incident that show how much the driver was fined.
“Earlier tonight our member stopped this driver in the 4200 block of SW Marine Drive for travelling 124 km/h in a 50 km zone. #expensivelesson #raiseyourrightfoot,” reads their tweet.

The driver was fined $483 for excessive speeding.
“124 km/h really?? Did he have a death wish??” commented one Twitter user.
“This person’s license should be revoked and he needs to go through mandatory classes to learn how to drive while respecting speed limits,” said another Twitter user.
