A North Vancouver woman is dead following a collision involving a semi truck in Saskatchewan.
Wynyard RCMP received a report of a collision on Highway 16 about 2km north of Dafoe, Saskatchewan shortly before 9pm on September 20th.
First responders responded to the scene and determined that a semi had collided with a truck.
The driver, who was the sole occupant of the truck, was declared deceased at the scene. She has been identified as a 53-year-old female from North Vancouver. Police say her family has been notified.
The driver of the semi was taken to hospital with injuries described as non life-threatening.
Wynyard RCMP continue to investigate the crash in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.
