After so many years, it’s hard to believe the moment is almost here. Oakridge Park has officially set its opening date for later this month, and here’s what you need to know!
Canada’s largest redevelopment from QuadReal Property Group and Westbank is opening on Thursday, May 28th at 11am following a ribbon cutting ceremony.
“Spanning 650,000 square feet and featuring more than 100 premier brands, the highly anticipated destination brings together a dynamic mix of luxury labels, contemporary fashion, beauty and lifestyle concepts, reinforcing Vancouver’s position as a growing global hub for luxury retail,” says Oakridge Park in a release.
Anticipation has been building for its grand opening, which the Oakridge team says will “redefine retail and dining in Vancouver.”
Shopping
When Oakridge officially opens, it will feature a curated mix of luxury fashion and leather goods, jewelry and watches, beauty and wellness, and premium footwear brands. Among the latest brands announced for the retail hub are luxury fashion houses Chanel and Ferragamo, joining a growing lineup of high-end retailers set to open at Oakridge.

Food
For its culinary offerings, Time Out Market Vancouver will bring together some of the city’s top chefs, restaurateurs, and cultural talents under one roof. Restaurants include Feenie’s, Mee Bar, Lunch Lady, MaKaam, DownLow Chicken, Barnacle by Bar Bravo, Peacock, Via Tevere, Kishimoto, SANTO TACO, Heritage Asian Eatery, Mello, and Boba Run.

Community activations
Oakridge’s rooftop public park, which spans roughly 7.5 acres, will also be opening on the same day as the mall. The space will feature walking paths, seating areas, and community gathering spaces for visitors year-round.
Throughout the year, Oakridge Park will host a dynamic lineup of activations celebrating food, wellness, jewelry, fashion, and seasonal holidays.
This includes:
- A series of live music running on weekends from Thursday to Sunday at the North Atrium for the entire month of June
- Experiential floral installations by Fleurs de Villes to spark joy throughout the shopping centre from May 28 to June 7
- Complimentary floral bouquets when you purchase an Oakridge Park gift card greater than $200 during the opening weekend and Fridays to Sundays from May 28 to June 7
- Complimentary portrait illustrations with purchases greater than $200 on Fridays to Sundays from June 8 to 21
- Complimentary pilates classes with Sporting Life x Vuori on June 26 and 27
