Fire tears through industrial building in Vancouver’s Olympic Village (PHOTOS + VIDEOS)

A large fire broke out at an industrial building in Vancouver’s Olympic Village Tuesday evening.

The fire started around 9:30pm at the First Avenue Plant, located at the intersection of First Avenue and Cook Street.

At 10:22pm, Vancouver Fire Chief Karen Fry tweeted out saying that crews are at the scene of the 2nd alarm fire.

The fire was quickly put out by crews before 11pm. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
