One person is dead following a two-vehicle collision in Surrey Sunday morning.
Surrey RCMP received a report of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of 144th Street and 62nd Avenue just before 4:40am yesterday morning.
“Despite lifesaving efforts, one person was declared deceased at the scene,” said Sgt. Chris De Hart in a release.
The Surrey RCMP’s Criminal Collision Investigation Team (CCIT) responded to the scene and police say the investigation is in the early stages Investigators are working to identify “all factors” that led to this fatal accident.
Witnesses and anyone with dash cam footage is asked to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502.
