Paul Reubens, known best for portraying Pee-wee Herman, has died at the age of 70 after a private battle with cancer.
The tragic news was confirmed on his Instagram page.

Paul made his first appearance as Pee-wee Herman at The Groundlings, an American improvisational and sketch comedy troupe and school, in 1977.
As the character gain more popularity, Pee-wee’s Big Adventure was released 1985, which was followed by Pee-wee’s Playhouse, an Emmy Award-winning children’s series that ran on CBS from 1986 to 1991.
