BREAKING NEWS: Police are currently responding to a person who is threatening to jump from the Alex Fraser Bridge.

The incident is unfolding on the north side of the bridge. There are heavy traffic delays on both sides of the bridge.
Drivers are being asked to use alternative routes.
“Delta Police is currently managing an incident on the Alex Fraser Bridge,” said police in an email to Anywhere Vancouver. Northbound traffic on the Alex Fraser Bridge is reduced to two lanes and and Highway 17 under the bridge is down to single-lane traffic in both directions.
