Police seeking road rage suspect that smashed car window, pointed firearm in Port Moody

Police are seeking dash cam footage after a disturbing road rage incident that occurred in Port Moody Thursday afternoon.

Officers were called to the area of St Johns Street and Moray Street for a report of a road rage altercation in the westbound lanes of traffic around 4pm on May 15th.



Responding officers located a dark Acura sedan with a “smashed rear window”.

“A suspect fled the scene in a grey Honda sedan after allegedly breaking the car window and then pointing a firearm at the other driver,” said Port Moody Police in a release.

“We are looking to speak with any witnesses who observed the rush hour altercation” states Constable Sam Zacharias, “and likewise, anyone who may have dashcam footage of the incident is also asked to contact our investigators.”
