Police in Delta recently pulled over a driver for going nearly double the speed limit.
The Delta Police Department’s Traffic Unit stopped the driver of a Porsche that was going 152 km/h in a 80 km/h zone. The driver was fined $483 for excessive speeding and their vehicle was impounded for seven days.
The driver also received three penalty points and possibly a “licence review”.
152/80 isn’t blood pressure. It’s speed. But when this driver passed an unmarked police car doing 152 kmh in an 80 kmh zone, we suspect his blood pressure may have spiked.
