Police are warning the public about a dangerous sex offender now living in Surrey.
29-year-old Ezaz Razak was convicted of sexually assaulting two women in 2017. Surrey RCMP issued a public interest notification under the Privacy Act of Canada Friday, warning the public of his release into the community.
“Ezaz Razak will be released into the community after completing his federal sentence. He represents a serious and imminent risk to vulnerable women and intimate partners,” said Cpl. James Mason in a release.

Razak must abide by the following conditions:
- Not consuming or possessing alcohol, drugs or any intoxicating substances, except with a medical prescription prescribed by a doctor qualified to practice medicine in BC
- Must obey a curfew by being inside his residence or on the lot of his residence between the hours of 10pm and 5:30am each day
Razak will be “subject to monitoring” in order to ensure compliance with his conditions.
Anyone who sees or knows of Ezaz Razak violating any of these conditions is asked to call 911.
