Police are searching for three youths who allegedly vandalized a rainbow crosswalk in Langley while riding e-dirt bikes.
The Township of Langley Public Works Department installed a new rainbow crosswalk at the intersection of Mary Street and Glover Road in Fort Langley on June 22nd.
The following day, the crosswalk was vandalized.
“Following a review of video surveillance from the area, investigators observed three individuals, believed to be youths, riding electric dirt bikes and intentionally damaging the crosswalk,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom of the Langley RCMP.

“Police are releasing photographs of the individuals and the electric dirt bikes involved in hopes that members of the public may be able to assist investigators in identifying those responsible.”
Police add that the crosswalk was “installed as a symbol of inclusion, diversity, and community pride”.
