Ryan Reynolds is a busy man right now, but it appears the “Deadpool & Wolverine” star will be making some time to come home this weekend.
Wrexham AFC, who Reynolds co-owns with Rob McElhenney, is taking on the Vancouver Whitecaps at BC Place this weekend on July 27th, 2024.
Many fans were wondering if Vancouver’s beloved son would be in attendance and looks like we have our answer courtesy of Reynolds himself.
In Vancouver to watch @wrexham_afc play tomorrow. Incredibly proud #DeadpoolAndWolverine seems to be bringing millions of people to the theater. Sports and movies bring us together so posting a gentle reminder that none of us are alone. #MaximumEffort @Walking4Hope pic.twitter.com/xL2Pv4Trzl

Reynolds and fellow actor Rob McElhenney purchased the team back in 2020. Wrexham AFC is the third oldest professional football club in the world and the celebrity duo has helped them climb the English football ranks. They currently play in Football League Two and will join Football League One next year.
The Vancouver Whitecaps are expecting more than 30,000 fans to be in attendance for the big game. Tickets are still available for as low as $58 and can be purchased here.
Kick is set for 4:30pm.
