A beloved Broadway musical is set to take centre stage at this local Vancouver theatre.
Ryver’s House presents the beloved Broadway musical You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown at Waterfront Theatre this June.
Originally created for the stage in 1967 and later revived as a Tony Award–winning Broadway production, You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown transforms Schulz’s comic universe into a series of playful, character-driven vignettes.
Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, Schroeder, and Sally will take audiences on a heartwarming journey through the everyday joys, challenges, and triumphs of growing up.

Ryver’s House
For Ryver Santos Cegnar, Artistic Director of Ryver’s House, the lasting appeal of Peanuts comes from its childlike emotional honesty and universal themes.
“This production is our biggest show to date,” says Ryver. “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown was originally written for six grown adults, but after seeing all the youthful talent come out for auditions, I knew no one else could portray these characters better and more honestly than kids themselves.”
Featuring six beloved characters, the show unfolds through a series of short scenes that capture the Peanuts gang navigating the everyday moments of childhood.
This production reflects Ryver’s House’s commitment to character-driven storytelling that fosters creativity, authenticity, and meaningful human connection.
“At Ryver’s House, we’re drawn to theatre that feels pure and genuine,” adds Ryver. “This musical is joyful, funny, and unexpectedly emotional. Whether audiences grew up with Peanuts or have only just discovered them recently, these characters continue to reflect something true about each and everyone of us.”
