Update: North Vancouver man missing since early October found deceased

The search continues for a North Vancouver man missing since October 9.
50-year-old David Andrew McLean was last seen in the 5600 block of Kingsway Avenue in Burnaby on October 9th at 4:21pm. He was last seen leaving the area in a 2001 Blue Volkswagen Golf.

“Our Investigation Support Team has now taken conduct of this file,” said Cst. Mansoor Sahak of the North Vancouver RCMP.
“We are concerned for his wellbeing and are eager to locate him. There is no indication at this time that foul play is involved in his disappearance.”
McLean is described as:
- Caucasian male
- 50 years old
- 180 cm
- 82 kg
- Green eyes
He was last seen wearing an army green jacket with a black shirt.
Investigators have now released images of McLean’s vehicle in hopes that someone may recognize it and call police.

- 2001 Blue Volkswagen Golf
- Bearing British Columbia plate 876EHJ
- Silver roof racks with aluminum/grey bars on top
- Black connecting points
- Billabong sticker on left back window
- Black Hawaiian turtle sticker on rear window
