Police warn public about convicted sex offender living in Vancouver

Police are warning the public about a convicted sex offender now living in Vancouver.

Vancouver Police say Skylar Wayne Pelletier poses a “risk of significant harm to women in the community”. The 24-year-old is currently serving a five-year long-term supervision order for convictions of sexual assault, assault, and break and enter.

Police say Pelletier is 6’2” and has a heavy build. He has short black hair and brown eyes.


Pelletier must comply with the following conditions:

  • Can’t consume, purchase or possess alcohol
  • Can’t consume, purchase or possess drugs other than prescribed medication
  • Can’t associate with the victim or members of the victim’s family
  • Must report all contacts with females to his parole supervisor
  • Must reside at a Community Correctional Centre or a Community Residential Facility, or other residential facility
  • Has a 6ppm curfew
  • Can’t go to Salish Park, Chilliwack
  • Must take all medication as directed by a health care practitioner

Anyone who witnesses him in breach of any of these conditions is asked to call 911 immediately.
