With fall now in full swing, a popular Mount Pleasant seafood restaurant has introduced some new offerings for guests.
Smitty’s Oyster House on Main Street now has brunch and ‘After Hours’ late-night cocktails and oyster features available on weekends.
Available Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 2:30pm, their new brunch menu includes four varieties of eggs benedicts, french toast, crab cakes, and plenty of more sweet and savoury dishes.

Offering a throwback to the heyday of the Five Point Restaurant & Pub that formerly occupied the space, Smitty’s new “After Hours” cocktail menu showcases strong drink, classic cocktails and contemporary libations that include The Barbossa, Long Island Iced Tea, Aperol and Limoncello Spritzes, Paloma, Cucumber Gin Smash, and Shafts, among others.
Enjoy these late-night drinks with two-buck-a-shuck oysters available exclusively from 9pm to midnight Thursdays through Saturdays. Smitty’s new late-night offerings also features a trio of slurp-and-slam Oyster Shooters:
- The Caesar (vodka, Smitty’s Caesar mix, parsley salt rim, Fanny Bay oyster topped with horseradish)
- Gin Smash (gin, cucumber, lime juice, Beausoleil oyster topped with lemon & cracked pepper)
- Spicy Marg (tequila, triple sec, lime juice, Boys Don’t Cry hot sauce, Tajín rim, Sunseeker oyster topped with lime juice)
