Across Metro Vancouver, residents woke up to the first snowfall of the season Sunday morning. The snow has created dangerous road conditions, leading to traffic delays across the region.
Environment Canada says another round of heavy snow will develop Sunday evening.
“Precipitation will taper off to wet flurries or showers this afternoon. Another round of heavy snow will develop tonight into Monday morning,” says the weather agency.
Numerous routes across Metro Vancouver saw spun out vehicles Sunday morning, prompting officials to ask motorists to avoid driving if their vehicles aren’t properly equipped.

Locals are being asked to be extra careful when they head outside as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
