Bad news Stanley Park train riders.
The Stanley Park Christmas train will be closed tonight, December 27, due to a power outage.
“Due to a power outage, the Stanley Park Railway will be closed tonight to ensure the safety of our visitors,” posted the Vancouver Park Board on X.
All rides are cancelled and the plaza area will be closed tonight as well.
Ticket holders will receive a refund via the method of payment used to purchase tickets originally.
“We understand #BrightNightsYVR is a part of holidays for many people, and apologize for the disappointing news.”
The Christmas train is expected to be up and running again tomorrow, but ticket holders are advised to check again ahead of time.
