North Vancouver RCMP are investigating after stickers “promoting white supremacy” were posted inthe community.
Police were made aware of several large white stickers posted on poles, fences and signs last month. They say the posters were covered with English text that “represents an ignorant and discriminatory ideology against ethnic diversity”.
The stickers were sometimes accompanied by a smaller, rectangular sticker with a QR code and web address.
“The stickers have appeared in the central Lonsdale neighbourhood and have since been removed. As such, police are investigating these incidents as a wilful promotion of hatred,” said North Vancouver RCMP in a release.
Investigators have exhausted all avenues, and are now turning to the public for help.
