When will the sunny weather return to Vancouver? That’s what many locals have been asking and unfortunately, we’ll have to wait a while longer.

Metro Vancouver has seen its fair share of wild winter weather over the last couple of weeks. From a massive snowstorm that dropped more than 25 cm snow in some areas to seeing more than 80+ mm of rain in one week, the sun has been sorely missed.

So, when can we expect some sunshine?

According to The Weather Network’s 14-day forecast, nothing but rain is in store for the remainder of the month.

The first two days of February call for more gloomy conditions before the sunshine returns in a big way. The first weekend of February calls for nothing but sunshine with daytime highs hovering close to 5°C.

There’s event more good news! The sunny conditions are forecasted to carry over from the weekend and stick around for the first full week of February.
