One man was sent to hospital following a late night shooting in Surrey Thursday evening.
Police responded to a report of shots fired in the 8500 Block of Richardson Drive of Surrey’s Cloverdale neighbourhood just before 10:45pm. Officers found a male victim suffering from injuries “consistent with having been shot”.
The male victim as transported to local hospital for medical treatment.

“Officers are/will be conducting neighbourhood canvassing and speaking with witnesses to obtain further information,” said Sgt. Duane Honeyman in a release.
The investigation is still in the early stages and no individuals are in custody.
