Despite the overcast weather, more than 500,000 people made it out to the Surrey Vaisakhi Parade on Saturday.
The Surrey Khalsa Day Vaisakhi Parade is held annually, but this weekend marks the first time since 2019 that the event has taken place.

Vaisakhi is a religious celebration that marks the spring harvest and the birth of the Khalsa order by Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Guru of Sikhism.
The parade began at Gurdwara Sahib Dasmesh Darbar Temple and featured a variety of floats, community groups, live music and dancers.
Free vegetarian food was handed out throughout the day along the parade route coupled with cultural performances.
