Surrey’s 2024 Canada Day celebration has set a new attendance record.

A whopping 90,000 people attended the free community celebration at the Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre.

The City says the event has become the “largest celebration of its kind in Western Canada”.

“Thank you to everyone who came to experience Indigenous cultural sharing, to support local performers and businesses, and to have some fun.”

The free, family-friendly event included a diverse lineup of performers, live entertainment, amusement rides, food trucks, and a dazzling fireworks display to cap off the celebrations.
