IHIT say a suspect involved in a deadly stabbing in White Rock last week has been arrested.

Despite lifesaving measures from first responders, he died at the scene.
Today, IHIT, with support from the Integrated Emergency Response Team, arrested a 28-year old man from Surrey in connection to the homicide.
“This remains a very active investigation,” says Sgt. Timothy Pierotti of IHIT. “We recognize the public’s concern for safety and want to provide updates as soon as possible.

After the tragic incident, Gurleen, Kulwinder’s brother set up a GoFundMe campaign to help his family.
Gurleen describes Kulwinder as a “hard working and really passionate person”. The 26-year-old moved to Canada in 2019 and worked as plumber.
“I’m really shocked and depressed after this tragic loss,” reads the online fundraiser.
“Our parents are still in India and we want to give peace to Kulwinder soul by performing last rituals at our hometown.”
