Several road closures will be in effect this weekend in Vancouver as a popular triathlon transforms the city into a scenic racecourse.
The T100 Triathlon is bringing together elite athletes and competitors from around the world to compete in various categories such as a 100 km bike ride and various swimming events.
“Feel the pulse of the True North at the Vancouver T100 Triathlon as you swim, bike, and run through stunning landscapes,” reads their website. “You’ll tap into your strength and freedom, in a race that captures the spirit of Canada – wild, bold and beautifully free.”
Events take place throughout Vancouver from June 13 to 15, and local commuters are being warned about road closures that’ll be in effect throughout the weekend.
