The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) say an arrest has been after a teenager was shot with a BB gun earlier this week in Kerrisdale.
The victim was near Point Grey Secondary School around 9:45pm when they were approached by several unknown suspects.
“The group left the area and then returned, and one youth allegedly shot the victim,” said Cst. Megan Lui.
Police located and arrested the suspect nearby, seizing a BB gun, a knife, and a can of bear spray during the arrest.
“A violation ticket was issued in relation to possession of the bear spray.”

The teenager was not seriously injured in the incident.
The VPD say the investigation remains ongoing and the department will be submitting a report to Crown counsel.
