About: The world’s largest Vaisakhi parade is set to return to Surrey this spring, with massive crowds expected as the community gathers to celebrate this significant religious festival. The parade commemorates the founding of the Khalsa in 1699 by Guru Gobind Singh Ji (10th Sikh Guru) and a commitment to sovereignty, human rights, equality, and fairness.
The parade will feature a colourful and entertaining procession of over 2500 participants representing 20 community organizations. Attendees will come across hundreds of booths sponsored by local businesses and families along the route handing out free food and treats.

Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival
About: The Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival returns this month, which serves as an opportunity for people to appreciate and discover the roughly 43,000 cherry blossom trees across the city. The 2026 festival will again feature Blossoms After Dark, the popular Big Picnic in David Lam Park, and much more celebrations.

Vancouver Cherry Blossom Food Festival

Harrison Tulip Festival
About: The Harrison Tulip Festival, Canada’s largest tulip festival, opens for its 20th season on Friday, April 10th. The festival spans 45 acres of vibrant flower fields, offering the perfect backdrop for photos with friends and family. This includes 150 varieties of tulips, along with a stunning 4.5-acre show garden.
New this year is Night Garden, an evening experience where guests can explore a beautifully illuminated show garden after sunset. Tickets are on sale now, including Season Passes and Super Passes, which offer unlimited visits to the Harrison Tulip Festival all season long.
