About: The world’s largest Vaisakhi parade is set to return to Surrey this spring, with massive crowds expected as the community gathers to celebrate this significant religious festival. The parade commemorates the founding of the Khalsa in 1699 by Guru Gobind Singh Ji (10th Sikh Guru) and a commitment to sovereignty, human rights, equality, and fairness.

The parade will feature a colourful and entertaining procession of over 2500 participants representing 20 community organizations. Attendees will come across hundreds of booths sponsored by local businesses and families along the route handing out free food and treats.
