About: Granville Street has been transformed into a vibrant pedestrian zone as the city hosts the FIFA World Cup, with expanded patios, family-friendly activations, and much more!
The Granville Street Pedestrian Zone has seen great results so far, and it’s now sticking around longer than originally planned! Vancouver City Council has voted to extend the five-block pedestrian zone through the Labour Day long weekend.

Soccer & Technology from the FIFA Museum
About: Science World’s newest exhibit, Soccer & Technology from the FIFA Museum, takes visitors behind the scenes of the beautiful game, showing how innovation has shaped its evolution. About: Located just across the street from BC Place, the downtown entertainment hotspot is rolling out a lineup of special food features, a beer garden, and much more!
Fans can head over to the Level 3 Sportsbook Lounge to watch all the games taking place live in Vancouver on a 50 ft. screen! They can also enter to win Team Canada jerseys, enjoy live DJ sets after games at BC Place and snap photos at an Instagram-worthy photo wall! About: The City of Surrey is hosting free public watch parties throughout the city for the FIFA World Cup. The Cloverdale Agriplex Fan Zone will serve as an indoor viewing space, while the Civic Plaza and South Surrey Athletic Park will be outdoors with tented seating areas to provide shade.
The official launch of Surrey’s Soccer Fan Zones will take place on June 12th at Surrey Civic Plaza, as Canada’s men’s national team kicks off in Toronto against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
