Police are investigating a two-vehicle collision that injured three pedestrians in Richmond over the weekend.
The accident occurred at the intersection of No. 4 Road and Williams Road around 1:20pm on June 22nd.
Richmond RCMP say a grey Toyota Tundra was driving southbound on No 4 Road and crossing the intersection at Williams Road on a green light when it was struck by a black Ford Edge. The black Ford Edge was allegedly driving eastbound on Williams Road before turning right onto No. 4 Road, striking the grey Toyota Tundra.
The Ford Edge “mounted the sidewalk” and struck “two of three pedestrians” who were on it.
The two pedestrians hit by the vehicle suffered significant injuries and were transported to a local area hospital for treatment. One pedestrian has since been released from hospital with injuries to the foot, leg and abdomen, while the other pedestrian still remains in hospital.
