Last week, Tourism New Westminster announced the winners of its inaugural New West Experience (NWX) competition.
The announcement comes after an electric final pitch event held at the Anvil Centre on November 27th. The competition invited entrepreneurs, students, creatives, and community members to pitch new and exciting visitor experiences that could be brought to life in the city.
A total of over 50 submissions were received, with 12 finalists showcased for their ideas, highlighting the city’s thriving creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.
“NWX proves what’s possible when we invite our community to dream big,” says Gerardo Corro, Executive Director of Tourism New Westminster.
“The passion and innovation shown by the finalists demonstrates that New Westminster is full of creators ready to shape unforgettable experiences for residents and visitors alike.”
