On Monday afternoon, a truck slammed into a Delta Police vehicle during an attempted traffic stop.
At around 1pm, police received a 911 call about a driver who who may have been in distress or impaired by drugs or alcohol.

Police located the driver later around 2pm and while officers attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver failed to stop. The driver instead rammed a police car.
“As a result of the collision, the vehicle stopped, and officers arrested the driver,” say police.
“The driver received minor injuries from the arrest and has been treated by paramedics.”
Both the police car the suspect’s vehicle sustained minor damage.
