Yet another truck hit an overpass in Vancouver over the BC Day long weekend.
A large commercial truck struck an overpass in Stanley Park on Saturday, August 3rd.
A photo of the incident was shared on Facebook and shows the truck involved sustained considerable damage.

It’s unclear if any injuries occurred.
In March, the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure announced truck drivers that hit overpasses in BC will now be facing higher penalties and possible imprisonment.
Changes to the to the Commercial Transport Act (CTA) will enable the courts to impose fines for as much as $100,000, as well as imprisonment up to 18 months upon conviction.
