A car accident near the Pattullo Bridge over the weekend sent two people to hospital with serious injuries.
Police and paramedics responded to the area of the Pattullo Bridge and King George Boulevard just after 8:30pm on Sunday, June 8th for a two-vehicle collision.
“A male and a female were treated for their injuries on scene and transported to hospital with serious injuries,” said the Surrey Police Service in a release.

The eastbound lanes of the Pattullo Bridge were closed for several hours to allow investigators to gather evidence.
The exact cause of the accident has been shared yet at this time.
