Police are investigating what they describe as a “disturbing incident” at a Vancouver fast food restaurant last week.
In a release, the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) says video circulating on social media shows two men yelling at staff and customers at a fast food restaurant Friday night.
The two men claimed to “have guns and be part of a gang”.
“On Friday night, police received a report that the two men entered the restaurant near Nelson and Howe streets, yelled at staff, and damaged property inside the business,” said the VPD in a release.
The two men left before officers arrived.
The video of the incident, which can be seen below, was shared on social media and identifies the restaurant as Burger Crush.

“We understand there is significant public interest in this incident. It is disturbing and unacceptable, not just to police, but to the staff and patrons of the restaurant,” said Inspector Erin Roulston. “Investigators are reviewing all available evidence, including CCTV footage, to determine what occurred and if criminal charges are appropriate.”
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Vancouver Police Department at 604-717-3321.
