While rain and gloomy weather is normal for Vancouver during this time of the year, we’ve good news for eager trick-or-treaters!
According to Environment Canada’s upcoming forecast, dry weather is expected for the region on Halloween this week.
To start off the week, Monday calls for a 30% chance of showers during the day and Tuesday will see mainly cloudy skies with a high of 11°C.
Periods of rain is expected on Wednesday, but things will clear up just in time for Halloween. A mix of sun and cloud is forecasted during the day on Halloween, and clear skies with a low of 3°C await trick-or-treaters in the evening.
If your children are going out to trick-or-treat, here are some tips to keep your little ghosts and goblins safe on Halloween:
- Stay in a group
- Use reflective tape on costumes and bags
- Carry a cellphone
- Watch out for allergens
- Visit well-lit areas
