Police are seeking witnesses after a hit-and-run in Vancouver last week sent a pedestrian to hospital.
Around 9:30pm on Friday, a 23-year-old woman was crossing Davie and Pacific Boulevard when she was struck by the driver of a blue sedan.
The driver did not remain at the scene and was last seen driving eastbound on Pacific Boulevard from Davie Street.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital to receive treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
“We believe there are several witnesses in the area who might have seen what happened,” says Cst. Darren Wong, “We are asking them or anyone with dash-cam footage from the area to contact police.”
Witnesses and anyone with dash cam footage are asked to call the Vancouver Police Department’s Collision Investigation Unit at 604-717-3012 or email vpdciu@vpd.ca.
