Mother Nature is again reminding us that it’s still winter with the possibility of more snow this weekend.
According to Environment Canada’s forecast, a few flurries are expected Friday evening as temperatures dip to -3°C. More flurries are possible throughout Saturday for the region.
Daytime temperatures will hover around -2°C on Sunday with a 60% chance of flurries.

This latest snowfall won’t be as significant as the last one the region saw. Areas throughout Metro Vancouver could see roughly 3 to 5 cm of snow this weekend.
“While snow totals won’t be anything overly significant, the South Coast region can expect to pick up a few additional centimetres as a weak system tracks down the coast,” says The Weather Network. “This may impact some weekend travel plans.”
As for the frigid temperatures, they are expected to persist well into next week. Overnight temperatures on Monday and Tuesday will hover close to -7°C.
