Vancouver strip club takes jab at Trump with latest sign following 4 Nations tournament

A Vancouver strip club known for their cheeky and creative signs has taken another jab at Donald Trump following Canada’s victory at the 4 Nations tournament.

The Penthouse’s latest sign suggests that the Gulf of Mexico should be renamed the “Gulf of Canada”. The sign was put up after Canada’s thrilling 3-2 overtime victory over the United States in the 4 Nations championship game.

“The Gulf of Canada has a nice ring,” reads their sign.

The tilt between the two countries took place as US President Donald Trump continues to suggest that Canada should become the 51st state.

More recently, Elon Musk, who has established a close connection to the US President, said on X that “Canada is not a real country” in response to a petition that has been launched to strip him of his Canadian citizenship.

More than 250,000 Canadians have signed a petition that calls for Musk’s Canadian citizenship to be revoked.

Launched by Canadian author Qualia Reed, the petition states that Elon Musk has “engaged in activities that go against the national interest of Canada”.
