Spring has been off to a slow start across Metro Vancouver, but things are turning around in a big way this week. Environment Canada’s upcoming weather forecast predicts the region will experience its hottest day of the year yet this week.
To start off the week, Monday calls for a high of 13°C and a 60% chance of showers during the day. A mix of sun and cloud, and a high of 15°C is expected Tuesday before things begin to heat up in a big way.

Temperatures by the water will reach 15°C on Wednesday and hit 18°C further inland with nothing but clear skies expected. On Thursday, temperatures will hit 18°C by the water and 23°C further inland.
It gets even warmer just in time for the weekend.
Friday will see temperatures hit 23°C by the coast and a toasty 28°C further inland. As for Saturday, temperatures are expected to hit 24°C near the water and a sizzling 29°C away from coastal areas.
