One of Vancouver’s most popular holiday attractions has been named one of the world’s most spectacular holiday lights displays. Condé Nast Traveler featured the VanDusen Festival of Lights in their list of best Christmas light displays around the world.
“Why not head to Canada’s West Coast for the season? The annual Festival of Lights at Vancouver’s VanDusen Botanical Garden is easily one of the best holiday displays in the nation,” mentions the magazine. They describe the annual Christmas event as a “true winter wonderland” with more than 1 million bulbs.
“The garden’s 15 acres are stuffed to the brim with glittering trees, a festive carousel, and eight-minute light shows occurring every half hour—all inspired by the vibrant colors and unique plants and animals in the region.”
