A rollover crash on a major Vancouver street Saturday resulted in a vehicle being flipped upside down on its roof.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Burrard Street and West 6th Avenue.
A photo of the accident was shared on social media. Several firefighters responded to the incident.
A white BMW SUV can be seen near the other vehicle that flipped over, but it’s unclear if it was involved in the accident. The driver’s condition and anyone else who may have been in the car remains uncertain at this time.
The accident occurred near the Khatsahlano Street Party, which took over West 4th Avenue between Burrard and MacDonald for most of the day. Residents in the area and people looking to attend the festival were warned ahead of time about several road closures in the area.
Anywhere Vancouver has reached out to the Vancouver Police Department and Emergency Health Services for more information.
